Far Cry 5 at 4K 60fps on Series X is the norm for the vast majority of play with just the odd dropped frame or highly infrequent frame-rate dip, accompanied by screen-tearing. PS5 fares better
Eh what about all the features they gutted from Far Cry 6 compared to Far Cry 5 such as the skill tree, different (and throwable) melee weapons, human companions, replayable enemy bases, the ability to swap ammo type on the go, harder difficulty options, Far Cry Arcade, meaningful hunting and fishing, the option to manually save, new game +, and memorable side villains.
Far Cry 5 is more of an action open world shooter. There are no dialogue choices, there is no crafting and no stats on weapons. Its just fun to play, the movement is far better than in Fallout 4 because you can use vehicles, a parachute and a wingsuit, etc.
The design is not revolutionary or radically changed, but it is much better disguised than before. Far Cry 6 is more honest than Far Cry 5, as it is less subtle in saying what it has to say.

Far Cry 5 is still my favorite, with 4 being a very close second. However I really did enjoy FC 6. It is a very large and colorful game that gives you a great driving experience. The storyline based on overthrowing a dictator also resonated with me. There are so many extras on such a large map. The supremos pack offered something different too. Both have obnoxious characters but New Dawn has a better story - though requires you to play 5. 6 has waaay more content. New Dawn is more difficult, whereas 6 is one of the easiest games I’ve ever played (turned me off completely, but just comes down to taste). 6 has more vehicle options and more varied environments. 6 also has decent weapon
One of Far Cry 5's biggest weaknesses was how Joseph Seed disappeared for much of the game, leaving the work to his siblings. There's potential here for even better gameplay than we got in the
Far Cry 5 is known for having those strange multicore performance shenanigans. Check this out ( source ) and also this . It's like the game doesn't really "like" HTT/SMT and in result - 4c/4t beats 4c/8t which is a bit disappointing for a game released in 2018. sSCdk.
