I almost always take Nevyansk first bc it's always low on troops but that area is ALWAYS infested with looters. I would take Oristocoris castle, it is easily defensible as it only has one way in or out. Both villages are close by. Easier from there to mount attacks to the Western Empire, Vlandia and Aserai. Option 1) Join a faction, get fiefs and leave when at clan tier 4, keeping fiefs is optional but it gives you land for your kingdom straight away. Now how to do this well: Whenever you beat a lord, release them for relation, you need 20+ relation to have a chance of convincing them to join you. > Create Kingdom > Choose Kingdom Culture > Choose Kingdom’s Active Policies > Create Kingdom Name Then, I go check the “Create a non-imperial kingdom” quest objects page again and the “Be an independent clan” box is now unchecked and says, “Clan independence 0/1.” This makes absolutely ZERO sense!!! I had my independence a minute

How to add a Settlement as a Vassal. Getting to Clan Rank 3 is the first step. You will be able to take new settlement and castles as a vassal. You will need to then join the faction that controls the zone you want. As long as the ruling clan does not absolutely hate you, you should be able to join their kingdom.

The only way to declare war in the current state of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord is to plunder and plunder villages or caravans belonging to the kingdom you wish to fight. Follow these steps to start a war with the faction / kingdom: Make sure your own town is close enough to the faction you want to attack.
You can always use cheat to get what you want, that's what I did on one of my game. You can activate them in the launcher menu. In your inventory : ctrl + x -> money. On your caracter sheet : ctrl + x -> 1000xp. In a battle : ctrl + f4 -> kill an ennemy. On the map : ctrl + left click -> teleport.
There is. Open your encyclopedia. Choose heroes. From here you can see your relationship with all characters. Also you can choose kingdoms and see all the kingdoms. From here you can choose a kingdom and see all clans with allegiance to that kingdom. Selecting a specific clan will show all members of that clan.
I stopped forming the kingdom. I found you can take over towns and castles without it. Find a spot you can take, wait for the right moment. seige the town and take it, when the enemy army comes pay for peace. rinse, repeat. I have like 5 major towns, and 7 castles. and since you are not a kingdom yet, they cant delcare war on you.

If you're set on being independent and forging your own kingdom the hard way, I'd suggest a very strong party of at least 200 men, and a decent roster of companion parties before attempting it. You can probably score a city and a castle before then, but keeping them will be the issue. #13.
