On my channel, you can expect a range of content. Monthly montages, weekly live streams, daily videos and constant video shorts from a range of games includi2. This can be done with command blocks: By putting tripwires over the whole spawn area, you can trigger a command block whenever a new player joins the server, which you can use to set their spawn point. You can build in whatever logic you like to set different spawnpoints randomly, or in a series.
SETTING THE WORLD SPAWN POINT. The world spawn point is another type of spawn point, necessary if you have others joining your Minecraft session. A world spawn point will determine where all players joining will spawn. When setting a world spawn point, it is recommended to create a nice decorated area to greet your friends and new players joining.
A walk through on setting up a world spawn. U can't put a block over the spawn block or u will spawn on the roof I have narrowed it down to Essentials, the main Essentials jar. Going through the config, I'm not finding what may be causing the issue. But here is a quick paste of the spawn section of the config: newbies: announce-format: '&aWelcome {DISPLAYNAME}&a to the server!'. spawnpoint: none. kit: 'StarterKit'.Tap or click on the "Play" button directly below the Minecraft logo on the main menu. This should open up a screen with three tabs along the top. Look for the world you want to manage in the list
If you are using essentials, and have /setspawn set, it will automatically spawn new players (Never before joined) to that location. I think the reason it wasn't working for you, is because you have previously join the server, your server*, and so it will not teleport you to spawn, but rather your last location/coordinates before you logged off
