Each guild has two assembly queues, one for PVE and one for WVW. Most items you craft will go into the guild storage, not your personal storage. You can find these items on the Guild Panel in the Storage tab. Any guild member can access these items. How to Level Scribe. Due to the cost of leveling Scribe, we recommend you use an online guide.
It's been awhile; but I recall reading long ago that some chests (wasn't sure if it included Black Lion) were better to wait until Max Lvl to open for maximizing the chance to receive the 'best gear'. Is this still true? I also received a chest yesterday that contains an 'Exotic' from Daily Login Rewards. Thank you!
Player skill matters more than gear level in this game.Tho gear stat sets do matter. The only thing you "have" to do, is get the right build in exotics for your class and play style. This can be done gradually vua reward tracks. I'm actually surprised to see the same 10 people posting on the forums but here is my guess : You get a lvl 80 Boost for Purchasing HoT.You get a lvl 80 Boost for Purchasing PoF.1+1 = 2In theory if you own HoT+PoF you legitimately should have 2 boosts to lvl 80 so you can play 2 classes you like at the same time and work on progression on each class. As it was mentioned by someone above, lvling Basically anything levels you in this game (including gathering and crafting). But like everyone else mentioned, play the game till lvl 80 (it takes about 2 - 3 week or so). It makes you understand your class and its the nicest part of game. There is no gear treadmill at lvl 80 so you would basically still do the same things as when you level. I think you will enjoy it a lot. It is harder, though, a lot more challenging content at level cap and in the exps. The experience of 1-80 is the game, level cap is just more of that, but mobs use a lot more CC and hit harder. However, there is a simple solution to your perceived dilemma. Do what I did, and level alts.
Heart of the Mists. HotM is the main hub of PvP activity in GW2, this is the lobby where most people hang out while waiting in queue. To get here simply click the crossed swords icon at the bar found in top left corner of your screen. Here PvP gear becomes active and your character is temporarily boosted to level 80.
For WvW, the server vs server open world pvp, you can also start playing it early, I don't remember the exact level, but gear is not standardized in it. So you will have a tough time until you at least hit max. You will also get tomes of knowledge from both that will give you PvE levels. You can level to 80 playing just pvp.
